Thanksgiving may be right around the corner, but there's still time to learn something new in the kitchen. Our Holiday Virtual class series is designed around "make ahead" dessert recipes to keep your holidays stress free! In this class, students learn the techniques to decorate festive fall cookies with royal icing. Practice wet on wet designs with royal icing, flooding techniques, and piping with texture as you're guided by an expert instructor in the comfort of your home! By the end of class you'll have mastered the perfect consistency and decorated Instagram-worthy cookies you'll be proud to show off!

This class is held virtually with a live instructor and recorded to give you flexibility to watch at a later date.

Students have the option to either purchase a kit from NY Cake Academy ($60-includes shipping) or collect and prep all the ingredients listed on their own prior to class. If purchasing a kit, you'll have the option to add the kit to your registration at check out. Please note, there is an order cut off on kits 7 days prior to the class date.

Included in the Kit:

  • Prepared & bagged royal icing (piping consistency)

    • Green, red, and ivory

  • Prepared & bagged royal icing (flooding consistency)

    • Orange, red (orange/brown mix for Pumpkin Pie color)

  • (1) Extra disposable tipless piping bag

  • Piping Tips

    • Tip no. 44

  • (6) Pre-baked sugar cookies

    • Pie slice, pumpkin, leaf (2 each)

  • Tiny ball of fondant to be used for whipped cream on pie

     

All students will need to have the following supplies at home:

  • Toothpicks or cookie scribe

  • Scissor

  • Paper towels or kitchen towel
